Privacy Notice

Last Updated August 18, 2026

Welcome. This Privacy Notice explains how Helen Odom Coaching ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information across our websites, coaching programs, webinars, courses, events, downloadable resources, newsletters, publications, and online communities (collectively, our "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this notice.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Information You Directly Provide:

    • Registrations & Purchases: Name, email address, billing information, and registration details when you sign up for a course, webinar, event, or coaching program.

    • Coaching & Intake Details: Information you share in intake forms, questionnaires, scheduling tools, or direct communications prior to or during coaching sessions.

    • Downloads & Subscriptions: Contact information provided when requesting downloadable guides, worksheets, or signing up for newsletters and publications.

    • Community & Event Interactions: Questions, comments, chat messages, or feedback submitted during live webinars, courses, events, or within online community spaces.

  • Automated & Platform Analytics Data: Our website host, publication platforms, community platforms, video/webinar tools, email service providers, and content distribution services automatically collect technical and usage metrics. This includes IP addresses, device types, operating systems, referring/exit URLs, email open rates, link click-throughs, message delivery statuses, video/audio duration metrics, and course completion progress.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver coaching services, administer courses or community forums, host programs and events, and provide access to downloadable content.

  • Process transactions and manage customer accounts or registrations.

  • Deliver requested content, programs, communications or notifications.

  • Facilitate discussions and moderate programs, events or community forums.

  • Respond to customer support inquiries and administrative requests.

  • Evaluate email open rates, link click statistics, traffic patterns, and content interaction metrics provided by our platform tools to refine our offerings and improve communication quality.

3. Aggregated & Anonymized Data

We may compile and use aggregated, de-identified, or statistical data (e.g., overall email open rates, subscriber growth metrics, website visitor counts, or broad readership trends) that does not identify you individually. Because aggregated data cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual, we may use and share this non-personal information for business development, analytics, or educational purposes without restriction.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

To deliver our Services, we partner with trusted third-party service providers and platforms (such as payment processors, video conferencing and webinar hosts, course management platforms, email delivery systems, community platforms, and analytics providers).

  • Independent Platform Policies: When you register for or participate in Services hosted on or through third-party platforms, your data is also handled in accordance with those platforms' respective privacy notices.

  • Service Access: Our third-party vendors access data strictly to perform administrative, technical, or processing tasks on our behalf and are obligated to keep it secure.

We may also disclose information if legally required by subpoena, court order, or to protect the safety and legal rights of our business, clients, or the public.

5. Email Communications & Your Choices

If you subscribe to our emails, newsletters, or publication feeds, you can opt out at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email or by adjusting your notification settings within the respective platform. (Note: Transactional emails and other communications related to active course registrations, webinar access links, or coaching engagements will still be sent as necessary to fulfill those Services.)

6. Third-Party Links & Embedded Media

Our Services may contain links to external sites or embedded third-party media (such as audio players or social media feeds). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites or integrated platforms.

7. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Confidentiality & Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data. Please note, however, that communications over the internet—including standard email, online webforms, or third-party video calls—are inherently open networks, and no system is 100% immune to security risks.

In addition, because coaching is not a legal service, communications with Helen Odom Coaching—such as sessions, emails, intake forms, and the like—are not protected by attorney-client privilege. We still handle your information with care, as described in this Privacy Notice. If you need the protections of attorney-client privilege, please speak with a licensed attorney acting in that capacity.

9. Updates to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice occasionally to reflect changes in our offerings, platform tools, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date.
